Hotel Ambient Tateshina Cottage features rustic wooden cottages surrounded by lush forest, a 4-minute drive from Shirakaba Kogen Ski Resort. It offers foodstuff deliveries, free Wi-Fi at the lobby and a free shuttle from JR Chino Station and Sakudaira Station, both about a 60-minute drive away.
Cottages come with a Japanese-style living room, featuring a tatami (woven mat) floor. The low table with seating cushions is heated in winter, where guests can unwind and warm their legs. Traditional futon bedding is spread on the floor.
The cottages at Ambient Tateshina are all equipped with an LCD TV, a telephone and heaters. The fully-equipped kitchen comes with a wooden floor and a dining area. A fridge, a microwave and cooking stoves are provided.
Guests can arrange foodstuff deliveries to the door when cooking their own meals. Alternatively they can dine at various gourmet restaurants in nearby Hotel Ambient, a 5-minute drive away.
The cottages are located a 5-minute drive from Lake Megami in the highland resort area of Tateshina. Gosensui Shizenen Nature Park, also a 5-minute drive away, is a perfect spot for hiking trails in beautiful surroundings (closed during winter).
