Casa de Sao Roque
Casa de São Roque is a restored century-old house with Louis XV-style furnishings, located in the historic centre of Manteigas. The house is sited within a 4-minute drive from the Serra da Estrela Natural Park.
The house features 6 bedrooms, large sitting rooms and a small interior garden. The heated rooms of the Casa de São Roque all have wooden floors and feature a private bathroom and a TV. The Double or Twin rooms boast a city and a garden view.
Breakfast is served each morning in the Casa’s dining room. There are a number of local restaurants in the surrounding area of the Casa de São Roque, all accessible within a 5-minute drive. The region specializes in enchidos (local assortment of sausages and chorizos), cheeses and several traditional fish and meat dishes.
This renovated granite house maintains its original atmosphere and classical decoration. Free WiFi is available in all public areas. Onsite public parking is also free.
The vast Serra da Estrela Natural Park and its unique plant and animal life is a short drive away.
