There is a lake at the Quinta, which you can swim. Within 30km, there is a flight club where unique round flights can be made over the surrounding in 2-persons ultra light planes (approx. euro 20.- p.p. per 10 for 15min.). It is even possible to water ski and there is a carting lane within 20 minutes close to Evora. The town Montemor-o-Novo is centrally situated, 250km to the Algarvem, 100km to Lisbon and 100km to Spain.
