Located between the municipalities of Ciales, Florida and Manatí, the Camuy Caves are natural caves eroded by the Camuy River that is an important part of the Parque de las Cavernas del Río Camuy. This is a magnificent excursion where the tourist can see spectacular formations during the descent until reaching the Río Camuy underground.

The most important caves in Puerto Rico include the Camuy caves and the Encantado River System, located between the municipalities of Ciales, Florida and Manatí.The union established by the cavern system can be seen in the Tres Pueblos sinkhole, an immense depression located in the border of these three municipalities.





It is located at kilometer 19.8 on Highway 129 in Camuy. Taxi transportation from San Juan.



The Camuy Caverns Park is made up of 250 acres of land. Underground experiences are offered and a trip to the prehistoric past of Puerto Rico, which has been engraved on the walls of its caves.

You descend to the bowels of the earth, where you can see the Camuy River, which has been the main responsible for the excavation of a system of caves that include La Cueva Clara de Empalme and the Cueva Catedral.

They are vaults or natural amphitheaters where the filtration of water through the limestone has decorated the interior with hundreds of stalagmites and stalactites, illuminated thanks to the openings through which the sun enters.
