The Maria holiday home is located in a small quiet district outside of Unterammergau (2.5 km) in the midst of the Ammergauer alps. The holiday residence. which you have all to yourself. is located on a large property which also accommodates the owner s farm. The house offers 80m2 of living space and has two floors which house a living room/kitchen and a bathroom. The famous Passion Play locale of Oberammergau is 5 km away and offers many beautiful small shops. There are many abbeys. churches and castles in the vicinity. which are also accessible by bike. Ettal Abbey(10 km). Wieskirche (25 km). Linderhof Castle(15 km). Garmisch-Partenkirchen with the Zugspitze ( 25 km) Farm Museum (35 km) Munich (approx. 1 hour by car). Spas in Bad Bayersoien (15 km) and in Bad Kohlgrub (10 km) mud baths and various swimming options in the immediate vicinity. There are hiking options. mountain walks. cycling paths. Summer alpine slide (5 km).In the winter. too. the alpine region offers fantastic sports and leisure options: skiing (ski lessons possible): 5 km. Nordic skiing and sledding: 1 km.
